formal and casual!

What makes one amazingly arcticulate in formal occassions, while the same man is out of words in a casual discussion? or vice versa?

Hmmm, difficult question. I can think of two probable answers. The first reason is that the person may have had more practice of conversing in a particular type of situation than the other and thus is not equally good in conversing in both the types of situations. The second reason is that the person might be uncomfortable in a particular type of situation, because of how he perceives that situation and thus is not equally good in conversing in both the types of situations.
